MOTR – a home gym that fits in your closet

Do daily obligations prevent you from regularly visiting the gym or fitness club? Have the opening hours changed, or has your life taken a turn that makes it difficult to escape for a workout outside the home? No worries! We have the perfect solution for you.

Introducing the MOTR – a unique device that successfully replaces most body shaping machines. It allows you to have a complete workout without leaving your home, not just during gym closures. How can you use the MOTR in the comfort of your home?

GYM OUT OF REACH – HOW TO STAY IN SHAPE?

Life can take unexpected turns – you may have just become a parent, perhaps your professional obligations have increased, or maybe a move is making it difficult for you to get to the gym? If these or other obstacles prevent you from having standard workouts in a designated place, you are left with exercising at home.

When you don’t exercise, not only does your fitness decline, but so does your mood, energy, and even your immunity to diseases. Unfortunately, maintaining your shape without the right machines and accessories is not easy. Of course, you can try to replace dumbbells with water jugs or resistance bands with a belt or towel, but in the long run, such maneuvers do not work. When you want to achieve specific results, you need equipment that precisely shapes specific muscle groups.

HOME GYM – IS IT POSSIBLE?

Contrary to appearances, having a gym at home has many advantages. It gives you greater independence – you can work out whenever you want, without wasting time on commuting and money on a membership. Many people appreciate the comfort of training alone, without waiting for equipment to become available and distractions from the presence of others or music that doesn’t match their preferences.

Before you embark on your fitness journey within your four walls, you need the right equipment. However, the offerings in stores are not impressive. While browsing products in catalogs and on websites, you will mainly come across large, heavy machines dedicated to professional clubs.

Of course, after some time, you will find devices that the manufacturer recommends for creating your own home gym. However, remember that a set that includes an adjustable workout bench, a barbell, and a set of weights only looks unassuming in the picture – in reality, it will take up an entire room. It’s no coincidence that you will find information in the description stating that the equipment is suitable not only for home workouts but also for commercial gyms.

With classic equipment, you need a different device for each exercise. A bike, elliptical, treadmill, stepper, rower, a whole range of equipment for functional and strength training… Organizing a gym with such equipment requires a space dedicated solely for that purpose, which usually proves impossible in home conditions. Another difficulty is the costs reaching several, or even dozens of thousands of zlotys.

Typical machines that you associate with gyms require complex training and complicated exercises. To use them, you need a detailed plan that takes into account your capabilities and the functionality of the equipment you have. Creating such a plan on your own can be quite challenging – especially if you are just starting out and do not have much experience with each of the devices.

But what if you could combine the capabilities of strength training, cardio, functional, agility, balance exercises, and more into one device? Ideally, one that is easy to use, compact, and doesn’t cost a fortune? It’s possible – it turns out that you can keep your home gym in a small tube that works even if you live in a studio apartment.

DISCOVER TRAINING ON THE MOTR

The MOTR, which stands for MOre Than a Roller, is one of the most advanced training tools available. Its design, despite its small size, allows for all types of workouts that you know from the gym. At first glance, it resembles a regular exercise roller, but its interior holds much more.

When you open the lid of the MOTR, also known as the roller with weights, you will find a double arm with cables offering three levels of resistance and two stabilizing wedges inside. These will allow you to perform exercises in many positions. You can train using the roller or utilize the detachable arms with resistance cables for independent exercises. With the MOTR, you can conduct a complete workout—from warm-up to post-workout rolling.

This surprising versatility goes hand in hand with compact dimensions. The MOTR can easily fit into any home closet. Thanks to the included strap, you can comfortably carry it on your shoulder to exercise on the balcony, terrace, or in the garden. This unique gym in a tube won’t break the bank—it’s priced similarly to an annual gym membership. Therefore, the investment will pay off quickly, and your body will thank you.

HOW TO EXERCISE ON THE MOTR?

To get you started, we have prepared a short set of exercises that showcase the capabilities of the MOTR.

  1. Set the roller with the attached weights on the stabilizing wedges. In a standing position, place your left foot on the MOTR and your right foot on the floor. Perform 6 squats. Repeat the exercise, placing your right foot on the MOTR and your left foot on the floor.
  2. Grab the handles of the cables and stand with both feet on the MOTR, placing your right leg in front and your left leg behind. Perform 8 alternating arm swings while continuously holding the bands.
  3. Step off the MOTR, sit on it straddling, and position your feet under the weights. Place your right wrist in the band on the left side. Position your left hand behind your head. While holding the band with your thumb, pull it to the right side (diagonally) 8 times. Repeat the exercise, switching sides.
  4. Kneel down, holding the MOTR between your legs. Place your hands in the bands and extend your arms forward. Draw 6 circles in the air inward, then 6 outward.
  5. Lie on your back on the MOTR, resting your hands on the floor, legs slightly apart. Raise your right leg bent to the table position 3 times. Repeat the same with your left leg. Then, alternate raising your legs 8 times.
  6. While lying in the same position, grab the bands and extend your arms. Move them forward and backward 6 times. Then, extend your arms to the sides—repeat 6 times.
  7. Sit on the roller facing away from the weights. Grab the bands and perform six arm rotations forward, then backward.
  8. Detach the weights from the roller. Sit on the mat, place your feet in the bands, and extend both legs. Grab the weights with both hands, then slowly lower yourself until you are lying down, directing your arms behind your head. Then return to a seated position: lift your head, neck, and shoulder blades. Repeat three times.
  9. Stand with a slight stance, keeping your feet in the bands, and lift the weights overhead with both hands. Shift your weight onto your left foot, and raise your right leg bent at the knee 6 times upwards. Repeat, switching sides.

As you can see, you don’t have to give up exercising, even if you don’t have access to a fitness club. With the MOTR, you don’t have to worry about space—everything you need is in the roller tube. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, with the MOTR, you can conduct a versatile workout tailored to your abilities.
