Danuta Wiśniewska
Fizjoterapeutka, Nauczycielka pilatesuMy adventure with movement and health began at the Jerzy Kukuczka Academy of Physical Education in Katowice, where I graduated with degrees in physical education and tourism and recreation. It was there that my passion was born, which I deepened during my doctoral studies. I constantly strive for personal development, which is why I also completed a master’s degree in physiotherapy.
From a young age, sport has been and remains an important part of my life. It started with swimming, and later I became involved with the Volunteer Water Rescue Service (WOPR), which taught me responsibility and teamwork. This experience shaped my holistic view of health and physical activity. I am also the author of numerous scientific publications, allowing me to share my knowledge and experience.
My specialized yet comprehensive education allows me to combine various forms of therapy and training. I specialize in physiotherapy, conducting health-promoting and strengthening classes, as well as providing top-tier functional and medical training. I’m particularly passionate about working with specialized Pilates equipment, such as the Cadillac, reformer, and Wunda Chair, which allows for precise and effective rehabilitation.
I continually improve my qualifications, as evidenced by my extensive list of completed training courses. I am a Level II swimming coach, a recreational fitness instructor specializing in modern forms of gymnastics and strength training, and a Level II swimming instructor and judge. My aquatic interests also include experience in fast-flowing and floodwaters, a motorboat skipper’s license, a Level I PADI diver certification, and a yacht sailor’s license.
I have completed numerous training courses in fitness and movement therapy, including Tabata Interval Training, Deep Work, Pilates Mat I and II, Reha Pilates, Functional Stretch, HATHA-YOGA for pregnant women, Pilates for pregnant women and seniors, Fascia Pilates, TBC, Vinyasa Power Yoga, BODYART basic, and BODYART Structure. I have participated in numerous workshops on asana corrections, asana biomechanics, anatomy and physiology in relation to stretching, yoga wheel, meridian and fascial stretching, and the OM Fascia in Movement Congress. I have also deepened my knowledge of bodywork through training in Deep Tissue Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. I particularly value the training with the Classical Pilates Foundation for Sports led by Jaqueline Martin, and those related to the Reformer, Mat, and Chair at Diamond Pilates, as well as the Balance Workshop with Patryk Tomaszewski and the workshop “Breathing and Core Muscles in Vinyasa Practice” with Patrycja Gawlińska. I constantly expand my horizons by participating in numerous fitness conventions and training courses, including Kinesio Taping.
For me, sport and a healthy lifestyle are not just a job, but above all, a passion and an integral part of my daily life. I believe that movement is the key to health and well-being, and I enthusiastically share this knowledge with others.
